Hello and..

Hello,
I was told I could introduce myself and get to know others that are using Drupal. Thank you for the invitation, my name is Edward (Ed) - I'm so new at using Drupal that I have tons of questions and have been scanning and reading forums that are months old for answers. Pardon me if I ask 'age old' or 'repeated' questions..

I primarily use Drupal as I use most other CMS and Portal software packages, to learn how they work so as to better advise people of what is available and what works best for them.

Drupal was recently elected the 'best' CMS - but of course you already knew that.. I'm finding it very easy to use, easy to set-up, and easy to Admin..

I came to this site by reading the link at the bottom of a very interesting, but not working quite right (in IE) theme called, MyDrupal_impact... My left hand Navigation menu breaks up.. that is to say, it gets blank spaces in it as I mouse over.. (this doesn't happen in Firefox by the way, so I'm pretty sure its a MicroMess problem).. I'm scanning the rest of this site looking for a work around for those who visit my site who use use IE..
Well, thats what brought me here..

I'm a 55 year old Computer Consultant & IT by profession.. retired Army, a sort of.. Hobbiest if you will.. who really enjoys the Drupal and making new friends with like intersts..
